BSome day, you will eventually find out that not only poem is “happening” in our real world, but in fact the world is “happening” in poems.
——The coolest person in the world
“There are 12 practice questions, and my scenes can fit 9 of them...As long as Ms. Guarino doesn't ask me to pick from these three questions, I will be fine… If she does, I will buy lottery.”
“I can never memorize another two poems and make such deep analysis again! Even when these two poems don't fit, I'd stick them in.”
Life is a gambling, roll the dice and bet! See, I can use the fantastic literary technique of metaphor easily now, isn't that cool? Being the coolest person in the word, I never go to a battle before I am well equipped. You want to know what are my secret weapons? Mathematic and luck! Before the IB exams, I only did three things: calculating the possibility of getting the similar questions to confort my heart, praying for getting the similar questions to make sure God will help me, and memorizing the masterpieces I've written word by word to make sure I won't forget any important details.
Did that work?
I hope so:)I don't want to be over-confident now and slap my face when the result comes out in July. That would be really embarrassed. To be honest, I have prepared two essays before the exam and tried to memorize the outline as well as significant contents. Fortunately, they matched the questions of both exams, which largely eliminated my nervousness and enabled me to answer fluently. One funny discovery was that for the first two pages, I wrote carefully and neatly while after 30 minutes, my essays became “artistic creation”. I hope that my handwriting is still legible and that I won't be caught because of cheating by “asking another person to write for my exam”.
Last but not least, I had a really really really really really great year with Literature & Performance class! Hope that everyone can get good grades!
